REES Student News:
Every morning begins with the school news program at River's Edge. Students are the anchors, camera persons and technical directors. These students work with Mrs. Metts to produce one of the best elementary news programs around.
REES Safety Patrol:
The River’s Edge Elementary AAA School Safety Patrol is comprised of school-sponsored 4th and 5th grade student volunteers. Our patrollers direct our students throughout the building, and as school-age leaders they help promote traffic safety on a peer-to-peer basis. Here at River’s Edge Elementary our AAA Safety patrol students also serve as models for younger children, who look up to them.
REES Junior Beta Club:
The River’s Edge Elementary National Junior Beta Club promotes the ideals of academic achievement, character, service, and leadership among students in grades 4th and 5th. We strive to prepare our young minds for life experiences, a successful future, and the development of leadership skills that will last a lifetime. As members of The River’s Edge Elementary National Junior Beta Club, students are required to maintain a high scholastic record, outstanding character, and academic achievement throughout the school year. By becoming one of the chosen few that are selected for membership, students are encouraged and rewarded for their hard work and determination, they are held to a high standard and must make a commitment to exhibit our motto: “Let Us Lead By Serving Others.”
